The top is made of REAL MIRRORS - yes, it's a bit like strutting a disco ball on your chest! When creating the Disco Top, we were inspired by our love for disco balls and for the 70s divas, who rocked the dance floors all night long. We had never seen a wearable disco ball before, so we decided to create one and perfect it through the years - and the result is what you see right before our eyes! The Disco Top is Santa Maria's trademark since 2015. Since then, we have made a few variations of it, like this one which has shoulder straps, for a more versatile style. HOW IT EMBRACES YOUR BODY: Size XS/S fits A + small B cups Size M/L fits Larger B, C + D cups If you like more coverage, size up. If you like less coverage, or love the balconette effect or some under boob, you can size down. This latest version of the Disco top does not have pleats on the breast. This causes a balconette effect for your breasts. Or if worn higher up, it will show some under boob. We think this details are sexy! ALL THE JUICY DETAILS: - Mirrors cover chest up until the underarms - The top is adjustable as it ties in the back. Choose sizing according to your breast size. Because the top ties in the back, it will adjust to your body, whether you have a thinner or wider chest or back. - The top is made with silver pleather (yes, it's vegan!), and has silver spandex straps in the back. - Each mirror is about 1cm x 1 cm. PLEASE note that this is an entirely handmade piece! Because of its handcrafted nature, some mirrors may exhibit slight flaws or unevenness. We hope you can appreciate these imperfections. HOW IT COMES TO LIFE: The Disco Top is made of hundreds of real mirrors, which are cut by hand and then placed manually on the top. Since working with mirrors is no joke, each top takes an entire day to make. It is made in by our beloved artisan, Valeria, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where we are originally from. The mirrors come from Brazil and are cut from leftover, scrap mirrors which would have, otherwise, been tossed in the trash. We're happy to bring a new life to this material.
