Light Brahma chicks have gray backs with yellow heads, wing tips and chests. They have pea combs and feathered legs and toes. Adult Light Brahmas have a columbian plumage pattern and fully feathered shanks and toes. The head is silvery white, and the hackle feathers are greenish black laced with silvery white. The front of the neck, breast, body and back is white. The main tail is black, and coverts are laced with silvery white. They are considered a dual-purpose bird that lays brown eggs, but they are mainly kept for their unique appearance.
